Privacy

We collect as little as the site needs to work.

• No accounts, no email addresses, no names. Nothing asks for them.
• Reports hold only public records about the domain checked. Each is kept 30 days under a random link, then deleted.
• Watch Desks store the domains you add, their latest report and the change log. The desk key is stored only as a scrambled (hashed) value. Desks unopened for 400 days without a paid plan are deleted, and you can delete yours at any time.
• Rate limits keep a daily count per visitor under a salted, one-way hash of the IP address; counts are deleted after 3 days.
• Cookies: one for form security (CSRF) and, if you open a desk, one that holds its key. No analytics, no advertising, no third-party scripts or fonts.
• Server logs (IP address, page, time) are kept by the web server for operations and security, as on any site.
• Backups of the database are made nightly and kept 14 days; backups made at each software update are kept 30 days.
• Payments (when switched on) are handled by PayPal; we receive the subscription status and amount, never card details.
